Description

Sheldon Allman and Stan Worth wrote this theme song (and also the George of the Jungle theme) for Jay Ward Productions (of Rocky and Bullwinkle fame) in 1967.  Super Chicken was Henry Cabot Henhouse III’s super-hero alter ego, and with his intrepid (and unlucky, but always plucky) lion sidekick saved the day in inimitable Jay Ward fashion.

I am a huge Jay Ward fan (Rocky and Bullwinkle was his flagship creation), and have set this theme, ridiculously, to waltz time.  The challenge, aside from playing really, really fast, was in teaching the song to the chicken (not Super Chicken, but a fan of him).
